This soft and sweet illustration is inspired by my puppy dog and a pop song titled i love u, i hate u. The phrase on the piece “I’m always tired but never of you” is a line from the song. This lyric always resonated with me because I am also always tired. I love cuddling with my various creatures, and I wanted to honor my dog since I illustrate a lot of cats. This piece plays with patterns and textures.
