Part III of the Identifying Demons Trio. Am I Who I Want To Be?
This mask I wear is a self-defense mechanism. Or perhaps it is nothing but cowardice. To be known is to be vulnerable. To be vulnerable is to be heartbroken. I choose to protect my heart with a polite little smile and an understanding nod.
This is an original fine art painting, made using a technique called glazing. This technique uses many translucent layers of acrylic paint, building on top of each other to create depth, texture, and color blending. There is wire on the back for hanging. The painting is varnished with high-gloss acrylic varnish. This series is also available as art prints.
